Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor say they think their current frontman Adam Lambert is a better fit for the band than Paul Rodgers

Taylor tells the Toronto Sun while the Bad Company singer "has one of the greatest rock voices," the former "American Idol" finalist is "more suited" to much of Queen's material.  The drummer adds that while Queen "had great tours with Paul," he feels "Adam is more naturally at home" with the group.

May adds that Lambert is like Queen in that he has "many, many colors," and with him they can "explores some of those strange excursions that Queen likes to."

Rodgers fronted Queen for five years, from 2004 through 2009.  With Paul the group released the 2008 studio album The Cosmos Rocks as well as two live albums.

Queen has been performing with Lambert for the past few years, and is currently in Canada on a North American tour with him.
