Delta Air Lines no longer has middle seats available until October

Middle seats were always unpopular on airplanes and now they won't exist until October at Delta Airlines. In addition they are also capping the number of passengers they let on each flight.

When choosing a flight the middle seats will be show as unavailable. In first class and domestic Delta One, seating is capped at 50 percent.

"Reducing the overall number of customers on every aircraft across the fleet is one of the most important steps we can take to ensure a safe experience for our customers and people,” Delta Chief Customer Experience Officer Bill Lentsch said in statement. “Delta is offering the highest standards in safety and cleanliness so we’re ready for customers when they’re ready to fly again.”

In addition they will also require passengers and employees to wear face masks.
