A McDonald's With Blue Arches Exists in Arizona

We all know McDonald's for their golden arches but this one in particular has blue ones. It can actually be visited here in our state of Arizona in Sedona.

Sedona is a popular spot in Arizona for its beautiful weather, beautiful landscapes and great hiking trails.

"McDonald's was built in the early 1990s, right after the city was incorporated in 1989," said Cari Meyer, Senior Planner of the Department of Community Development for the City of Sedona. "Someone suggested it would be interesting if they did something else than golden arches to fit in with the identity that the city decided to establish."

Social media has definitely given this blue McDonald's a shine as a popular destination to visit.

"It's definitely unique," shares Meyer. "When I first moved here, it's what people brought up. Oh, you are moving to Sedona? They have turquoise arches! [When you pass by] you see people taking pictures with it a lot."
