WWE just announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they have done an extensive business evaluation that has lead to some serious changes. This includes pay cuts for business executives and board members, decreases in operation expenses, holding construction on the new WWE headquarters, and lay offs of talent, third party staffing, and consultants. These budget cuts that WWE is making, will lead to an estimated monthly savings of $4 million.
WWE also provided a list of 20 super stars they would be releasing as part of these cuts.
