Antoinette Caronlina Ragazzino Bianchini has been called many different names but is known in her neighborhood as “Mima.”
"That's what everyone calls her around here," Bianchini's granddaughter Jenn Sparano said to “Good Morning America.” "She's kind of a celebrity in our community.”
Antoinette has been quarantined for the past seven weeks and usually gets to visit her grandkids often. With her turning 98 years old last Thursday Sparano wanted her grandmother to feel special while being safe so she text loved ones and neighbors asking to participate in a drive-by parade.
20 cars lined up with decorations along with the drivers singing ‘Happy Birthday.’ Troopers with the local police department even stopped by with the fire chief, sounding their sirens.
"She just started to cry and goes, 'Everyone's making me feel so special, I haven't felt like this in so long," Sparano said to “Good Morning America.” "Her entire face lit up and she was grinning ear-to-ear, waving at everyone that went by. It was great that she could see how many people around here care about her."
