Paris Will Be Having A 'Boat-In' Movie Night On The Water

Going out to the movies has become a distant memory but Paris figured out a way to practice social distancing and still enjoy the movies, with their 'boat-in.' It will be taking place on the Seine, the storied river that runs through the heart of Paris. The event, Le Cinema Sur L'Eau or Cinema on The Water is scheduled for July 18. It will be shown on a large screen 52 by 29 feet and is able to have 38 electric boats attend. 150 people in total will be able to fit on the water.

The free tickets will be given out to residents via a lottery. Each boat can carry up to six people while maintaining social distancing.
