Consuming More Red Wine and Cheese Can Prevent Dementia Later in Life

A new study in The Journal of Alzheimer's Disease says that cheese and red wine can prevent Dementia and help with cognitive memory decline.

The study consisted of 1,787 people aged between 46-77 and they had to participate in a Fluid Intelligence Test to see how well they were able to think on their feet over the course of four years.

Researchers determined that when it came to measuring a food’s impact on brain functioning, cheese was found to be the most likely to help with cognitive decline as participants got older. The study also showed red wine helped with boosting brain function.

The study also showed that too much salt in take was bad for people already at risk of Alzheimer's.
