The Biden Administration announced Monday it plans on trying to speed up the efforts of getting Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill.
Plans were already in the works, but was delayed by the Trump Administration until at least 2028.
The redesigned $20 bill was first announced in 2016 by former Treasury Secretary Jack Lew after it the department asked the public for their input.
In 2015 and online poll was done and over 100,000 votes were in favor of Tubman replacing President Andrew Jackson.
