Good news for you Monster High fans, the show is getting a reboot!! Monster High is an American fashion doll franchise created by Mattel and launched in July 2010. The characters are inspired by monster movies, sci-fi horror, thriller fiction, and various other creatures. Now, this show was a little past my cartoon prime, but I know Gen Z LOVES this show. The theme song from the show even trended on TikTok for a while a couple months back!
This time, Nickelodeon and Mattel are teaming up for an animated series as well as a live-action TV-movie musical based on the decade-old Monster High fashion doll franchise. It is set to release in 2022. I think I'm most excited for the live-action so we can see the dolls come to life! Can't wait!
