Mom is Suing Her Son's School District After Teacher's Racist Rant on Zoom

A mother from Palmdale, California is suing her son's school district after overhearing the teacher make racist remarks over a Zoom call.

Apparently this happened back in January, when her son's sixth-grade teacher, Kimberly Newman made remarks about one her students and their parent after the office hours on Zoom.

Newman didn't realize she hadn't ended the Zoom meeting, so the mother and son overheard the comments and recorded her 30 minute rant about black families.

"I mean these parents, that's what kind of pieces of (expletive) they are. Black. He's Black. They're a Black family. "Your son has learned to lie to everybody and make excuses. Cause you taught him to make excuses that nothing is fault. This is what Black people do. This is what Black people do."

Newman continued "These parents are such (expletive) liars. Absolute (expletive) liars."

Newman did resign back in January, but now Katura Stokes and her son are suing the Palmdale School District.
