If you've still been traveling since the pandemic, then you've been able to enjoy less crowed flights with airlines blocking out the middle seat.
However, airlines have been slowly booking up their flights and Delta was the last remaining US airline that was keeping the middle seats unbooked.
But starting May 1st Delta will no longer keep the middle seat open, with signs that the demand for air travel will pickup and people will resume pre-pandemic activities.
"As vaccinations become more widespread, consumer demand and behaviors show us that confidence in travel is on the rise and customers are ready to reclaim their lives," Delta said in a statement.
