Charges Filed Against 17-Year-Old That Crashed Lamborghini, Killing Woman

The family of Monique Muñoz is getting news they have been waiting to hear after the 17-year-old driver who was speeding and crashed an SUV Lamborghini into Muñoz is finally be charged.

Muñoz was pronounced dead at the scene and her family has since been protesting and fighting for justice to be served for their loved one.

The family is planning to rally Saturday to demand DA charge the teen as an adult.

The family is also hoping the wealth and influence of the teen's dad doesn't play a factor in the case.

Stephanie Crespin, Muñoz's cousin said, "we don't want this swept under the rug. We don't want it ignored, and we have really felt that hinges on us making a stand, on us having a presence and demanding accountability."
