Pfizer CEO Says a Third Shot is Likely Needed Within 12 Months

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said people will likely need a third dose of a Covid-19 vaccine within a year of getting fully vaccinated.

Pfizer and BioNTech, are still studying how long the vaccines' protective immunity will last and their research will help guide whether or not additional booster shots will be needed.

Moderna is also looking at a yearly Covid-19 vaccine, but that would also help protect you from flu strains.
