Mmmmm Hot Cheetos, the snack icon is finally moving forward after a biopic on Richard Montañez, the creator of Flamin' Hot Cheetos was announced in 20018.
Eva Longoria is set to direct the film with Jesse Garcia and Annie Gonzalez playing the lead roles.
The film will be about Montañez, the son of Mexican immigrant farm workers, started as a janitor at the Frito-Lay factory in Rancho Cucamonga, California before he created Hot Cheetos.
Longoria's biggest priority will be to make sure they are telling Richard Montañez's story authentically. "I am so happy to have two extremely talented fellow Mexican Americans on board in these pivotal roles. Jesse and Annie have a deep understanding of our community and will be able to help tell this story of great importance for our culture."
