Sesame Street is making history by introducing the first married same-sex couple as recurring characters on th longtime children's series.
The show aired an episode Thursday called "Family Day," which featured married couple Frank and Dave, who also have a daughter named Mia.
According to a Sesame Workshop spokesperson this isn't the first time the show has introduced same sex parents. Recently there was an episode that included a boy with two mothers representing family for the letter "F."
Many people are excited for the inclusion Sesame Street has decided to bring to the episodes.
