Sand Diego: How You Can Get $300-$400 to Help Pay Your Utility Bills

If you are struggling with high utility bills San Diego Gas and Electric is going to be helping out some customers with an assistance program through the Neighbor-to-Neighbor program that will give one-time grants of up to $400 to customers experiencing financial hardship. 

Customers need to be at least three months behind and do NOT need to be considered low-income to be eligible.

To apply, customers should call 2-1-1 San Diego or 2-1-1 Orange County, which will direct them to community-based organizations in the respective counties that are working with SDG&E on the N2N program.
