I'm not against this, France may soon pass a law that would ban influencers from promoting cosmetic surgery on social media, along with making it mandatory to label filtered images.
The government is seeking to "limit the destructive psychological effects" the practices have on social media users.
If the law is passed and an influencer breaches the strict regulations, it could result in up to two years of jail and $332,515 in fines.
Offending influencers found guilty would also not be allowed to use social media or continue their careers on the platforms.
Do you think this is something other countries would do also?
