Here's What We Know About Taylor Swift's 'Reputation'

Taylor Swift is the queen of causing the most buzz while releasing as few actual details as possible. While the old Taylor may be dead, this much about Swift continues to be true. With the "Blank Space" singer's sixth studio album titled Reputation due out on Nov. 10, the Taylor talk is in full swing -- and fans are eager to hear what she has in store with the next record.

Although there's plenty of details that Swifties are still awaiting, here's what we do know about Reputation and everything laying the foundation for this era of new Taylor.

The album will present a new-and-improved Taylor.

The old Taylor is dead, after all -- she said so herself. Before entering the final chorus of "Look What You Made Me Do," the album's lead single that was released on Aug. 24, Swift says, "I'm sorry, the old Taylor can't come to the phone right now/ Why? Oh, 'cause she's dead."

This is purposefully vague. What pieces of the old Taylor is she killing off (besides her entire Twitter and Instagram histories)? Why? One thing we know for certain that this new Taylor will be is vengeful.

It will arrive in full on Nov. 10, with 15 tracks in total.

Remember how we said Swift is really good at creating mass speculation with little divulgence? Look no further for proof than the fact we know Swift's album will have 15 songs but so far, we only know the names of her released singles ("Look What You Made Me Do" and "...Ready For It?"). "...Ready For It?" is No. 1 on the track list with "Look What You Made Me Do" slotted at No. 6. The album will be released via Big Machine Records in full on Nov. 10.

The Target edition of Reputation has two special-edition Taylor Swift magazines.

If purchased at Target, two 72-page magazines will be available along with the album. According to Target's corporate website, "Whether you pre-order or buy one or both magazines at Target, you'll get an exclusive peek into Taylor's world like you've never experienced before -- 72 pages of her personal poetry and photos, artwork, hand-written lyrics, a behind-the-scenes glimpse at her 'Look What You Made Me Do' video and more."

Swift previewed the album in a secret session held in London on Friday, Oct. 13 -- including souvenir snakes.

A select group of fans were chosen to listen to Reputation in its entirety. According to one fan, "LITERALLY EVERYONE WAS SOBBING" during one song in particular. As if listening to one of the most anticipated albums of the year a month in advance wasn't enough, fans in attendance also got to meet Swift and walked away with a snake keychain (Swift has used snakes as her promotional campaign for Reputation).

Her name is mentioned on the album’s newspaper-style cover 899 times.

According to the brave souls at Mashable who counted each individual time Taylor Swift's name is written on her album cover, the estimated total is 899 times.

There may be some seriously personal references made in song.

Swift premiered her "Look What You Made Me Do" video during the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 27 -- garnering more than 581 million views to date -- and there are many innuendos in the clip. First, of course, the video begins in a cemetery with a headstone reading "Here lies Taylor Swift's Reputation" and a zombie Swift crawling out. The scene even features the name Nils Sjoberg, her famed songwriting pseudonym that came to the forefront after details about ex Calvin Harris' hit "This Is What You Came For" emerged.

Throughout the video, several different versions of Swift that we've seen over the years appear: an iteration of her "Bad Blood" crew, "Shake It Off" Swift, a circus marshal from her Red tour, nerdy "You Belong With Me" Taylor and more. At one point, a snake appears (again). Now she's dressed as what can easily be construed as a Katy Perry lookalike -- sparking rumors that her album might address the feud between the two pop stars.

Knowing Swift's past -- even though it's dead -- the many layers of her "Look What You Made Me Do" video detail the topics that may sung of in detail throughout her album.

There's already a Reputation Tour in the works.

Last week, Swift announced two live performances -- the first tied to Reputation -- as part of larger holiday events in San Jose, Calif., and Chicago. No confirmed Reputation Tour dates have been announced, but Swift's creation of a hub titled Taylor Swift Tix as a sign that it's only a matter of time before a full-length tour is confirmed.

If you pre-order the album on iTunes, you have a better chance at getting tickets.

Taylor Swift Tix is partnered with Ticketmaster, and the ticketing site is encouraging fans to use iTunes to pre-order Reputation. If you do so (and you're 13 and older), you'll be sent a special code for the Taylor Swift Tix presale to proceed when tickets become available. The iTunes promotion ends Nov. 26, with the Verified Fan registration ending on Nov 28. Additionally, if you pre-order the album through Swift's official website, you'll be entered for a chance to win a concert flyaway package courtesy of UPS.
