Compton native, Danielle Herrington, is the newest model to go down in fame as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl! Here's 3 facts you need to know about Danielle:
1. She's new to the modeling game (and KILLING it already)
She started modelling professionally in 2015 but Herrington's modeling career took off last year when the she landed her first Sports Illustrated Swimsuit booking as a rookie. She also made her NYFW runway debut last year.
2. This is her first cover ever.
You know, she just nabbed the most iconic cover spot for her first one... No big deal.
3. She's the third African American woman to appear on the SI Swimsuit cover.
