Nothing can slow Carrie Underwood down. Hours ahead of the release of her fifth studio album, Cry Pretty, the soon-to-be mom of two opened up about her pregnancy, which she publicly announced last month, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday (September 13).
"Weโre excited to add to the family,โ the country singer told host Jimmy, before dishing about her three-year-old son Isaiah's feelings about becoming a big brother. "I donโt think [he knows what's happening] for real. Heโll be really sweet and talk to my belly and kiss my belly. Heโs the sweetest little boy. I mean, no kid can really know that their life is going to change. Heโll just have to share mommy.โ
"We did ask him [if he had a baby name idea], and he did say, โIsaiah Michael Fisher,โ which is, of course, his name and would be confusing,โ Carrie joked. "He wants to name everything his name because he thinks thatโs special.โ
If that wasn't cute enough, Carrie also revealed that she sometimes listens to her son sing to see if he's got the chops to follow in her footsteps. "I try [to listen and see if he can sing], is that wrong?" she said. "Iโm like judging my three-and-a-half-year-old child to see if he can sing.โ She added, "If he is not musically inclined that is fine. Iโm excited to find out what he loves and is passionate about and is good at, and I will support that. But I really want him to sing.โ
Later in the show, Carrie performed her latest single "Love Wins," for the first time on TV.

Last month, the "Before He Cheats" singer announced that she and her husband Mike Fisher are expecting their second child, while also announcing her upcoming "Cry Pretty Tour."
โYou might be wondering or asking, โCarrie, why is your tour starting in May?โ Well โฆ yay!โ she said, revealing balloons that spelled out โBABYโ above her head. โMike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond.โ
