Drake & Nicki Minaj No Longer Follow Each Other On Instagram

Excuse me, I'm in feelings.

It looks like Drake and Nicki Minaj are no longer friends.

Leave it to the Internet to do some unprovoked digging to find out that the rappers are no longer following each other on Instagram. While the longtime friends and collaborators have admittedly had their struggles in the past. There was that whole Drake beefing with Meek Mill while the Philly rapper was dating Nicki. (Nicki was caught in the middle of all that drama) There was also that whole "Tuscan Leather" fall out (Nicki was mad Drake didn't include members of their Young Money crew on his Nothing Was The Same album.) And there's been a few other friendship bumps in the road, but, the two always managed to come out on the other side stronger than ever. However, something seemed to have happened recently that was big enough for the two to decide that they don't even want to see what's going on in each other's lives anymore, hence the unfollowing.

And since both rappers decided to take such a big step, fans took their lack of "following" as a clear sign that they're at the very least not on speaking terms at the moment, which sent many into a state of mourning. Literally, fans took to social media to mourn the rappers' years-long friendship.

Check out some of the funniest tweets below:

While there seemed to be no hint of trouble in paradise initially, after doing some digging (quick google searching) I realized that Nicki may have dropped some clues that she and Drake weren't on good terms last month when she dropped her "Good Form" music video. The "Barbie Dreams" rapper included multiple members of the Young Money crew, but excluded him from the music video, which could have been coincidental, a scheduling conflict, or it could have been some shade. While it's not known what exactly led to Drake and Nicki's alleged fallout, it did come just weeks after Drake rekindled his friendship with Nicki's ex, Meek. The rappers reunited on stage at one of Drake's Aubrey & The Three Migos Tour stops a few weeks back to announce that they had squashed their beef. A surprising move given that Meek and Nicki, who sided with Drake after her split from the Phill rapper, haven't been on the best of terms since they called it quits in 2017.
