Giant Donuts Invade Phoenix At the Donut and Ice Cream Festival

The Arizona Donut and Ice Cream Festival was on September 22nd from 12pm-4pm. The delicious event was held at the Pressroom in Downtown Phoenix. Over 15 local donut and ice cream businesses were present a long with other asian cuisine food trucks and vendors. Beers and cocktails were also served. What makes the event different is that they showcased donuts and ice cream from around the world! For example, Sweet Rolls had a Thai inspired rolled ice cream. Just Churros came from Tucson with churros.

Each business had a featured specialty donut or ice cream on their menu that was $5 or less. For example, Hot Bamboo had an ice cream bao, which was a first for Arizona. They also a variety of free games and a curated marketplace with local pop culture artists such as anime stickers. Boba, coffee, and lunch items were also available to purchase as well. Some of the food vendors and pop up shops included Happy Buns, HiiBByChan, No Glutes About It, Taste Of Korea, The Beignet and Coffee Shack, Oh So Good Mini Donuts, I Scream, Hot Bamboo and more.
