Asher Angel Says He's Not A Fan Of Fair Rides & Coffee

Asher Angel, the star of the new movie "SHAZAM!," came into our KISS FM Phoenix studio and confessed how he was terrified of state fair rides and doesn't like coffee. Angel was born in Phoenix, Arizona and is now a multi-talented actor, singer, dancer and musician who has been performing since he was six years old. He is best known for his role as Billy Batson in SHAZAM! and as Jonah Beck on Disney Channel's critically acclaimed award-winning hit series "Andi Mack." It is the first series on Disney Channel to win a GLAAD Media Award.

Angel is signed to mega-producer L.A. Reid's label, HITCO Entertainment. His current single 'One Thought Away' features superstar rapper, Wiz Kalifa and is now available on all platforms

In 2016, he booked guest-star appearances on CBS's "Criminal Minds" and Nickelodeon's "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn," as well as a number of national commercials. That same year he was cast to play one of the leads Jonah Beck, in "Andi Mack," which first aired in March 2017. SHAZAM! marks the first major film role for Angel.

We were able to sit down with him in CLUB KISS and play a game of "Flames or Lames" with him where he learned about his fear of state fair rides, preferences of tea over coffee and what kind of games he likes to play.
