Tristan Thompson Tells Khloe Kardashian 'I Love You' & Gifts Her Diamonds

Tristan Thompson doesn't give up easily.

On the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian's ex, who infamously cheated on her multiple times throughout their relationship, decided to enlist the help of her bestie Malika Haqq to try and win her back by surprising Khloe with the first of his many birthday presents — a diamond necklace.

While the Good American mogul was in Las Vegas for her birthday, a surprise box, which held the sparkler, appeared in her hotel room. "We're in another state. I'm in a random hotel room. I'm thinking, 'How did Tristan know where I am? My room number?'" Khloe shared in a confessional. "I'm thinking so many things that, I guess, I'm in shock."

While a smiling Khloe put on the diamond necklace almost immediately after she received it, she admitted that she was a little worried Tristan might take her accepting of the gift to mean that she wants to get back with him. "I just want to really make sure there's no expectations. Like, if I accept something, is that misleading to Tristan?" Khloe explained in her confessional. "It's the sweetest, kindest gesture. But that still doesn't mean, 'Ok! A necklace is just gonna fix everything.'"

"I don't want someone giving me diamonds for no reason," Khloe told Malika after calling Tristan to say thank you. "It freaks me out."

Speaking of being freaked out, Khloe later FaceTime'd Tristan to check in on their daughter True. However, the FaceTime turned awkward when Khloe dodged Tristan's "I love you" with a "thank you."

Despite the awkward call, Khloe later revealed that Tristan additionally gifted her a pink diamond promise ring. "I was like, 'I really appreciate it. I don't think I can accept it,'" Khloe relayed to Scott Disick. "He's like, 'Just think about it. It's yours.' I go, 'Not everything needs to be bought.'"

While Khloe wasn't over the moon about the meaning of the ring, she did say they Tristan also gave her "the nicest, longest card."

"The card was literally something I've been waiting for forever," she noted. "And it was like, in his bad handwriting, which is what I wanted! Just something tangible, that I can keep."

Thought the KUWTK star was sentimental about Tristan's words, Khloe made sure to clarify that there's "nothing romantic between Tristan and I."

"Tristan is really trying to show that he's sorry on a daily basis, whether that be a nice gift, a text. I do appreciate that because I know that he's trying," she said. "So, I think we're slowly moving into the right direction of being friends, as well as excellent co-parents."
