Local residents distribute positive signs around lawns in one Georgia town

"Everything will be OK"

The phrase initially was part of an art project in 2009 by local artist Jason Kofke and has since been on a large sign at the center of town.

Recently, however local resident Alan Mothner, with the help of a graphic design business, decided to use the message to spread hope around the community, with the money raised from the signs going to support artists who are out of work due to COVID-19.

Alan Mothner told Good Morning America, “It gives folks that glimmer of hope that we're going to get through this and stay positive,”
