Couple cancels wedding and donates all their flowers to cheer people up

A couple from Georgia had to cancel their wedding plans due to the coronavirus pandemic but was still able to give back to the community instead. The flower arrangements she ordered were still delivered to her home and she used social media to give them away.

According to FOX 5 the bride stated, ”I know most hospitals aren't accepting flowers right now, but if anyone knows someone elderly, sick, or just in need of some cheering up please let us know and we'll leave a bouquet on our porch.”

Out of that post she was able to drop several arrangements at the Atlanta hospice center, to some ambulance workers, local nurses, healthcare workers and even a young mother battling cancer

"During this time, everyone is hurting," the bride said according to FOX 5. "It's a time we can just come together. It's a time to be compassionate. It's a time to rally.”

Their wedding has been rescheduled to August.
