‘The Goonies’ hit the big screen almost 35 years ago and Josh Gad got the cast together to celebrate the anniversary while raising money for the coronavirus efforts. Reuniting for the first time in more than 30 years, Gad through a social distance party over a video chat. It was called the “Reunion apart with Josh Gad” and it featured movie stars Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, Corey Feldman, Kerri Green, Martha Plimpton, Jeff Cohen, Ke Huy Quan, Robert Davi and Joe Pantoliano.
Within the discussion it was brought up whether there would ever be a “Goonies” sequel, with Spielberg saying that they would only do one if the script was better than the original.
