Further relief from coronavirus-related job losses is apparent in the number of Arizonans filing for initial unemployment benefits dropping by more than a quarter last week. With many finding new ways to work, side-hustles are helping Arizonans secure income to pay rent and other necessities.

One local business, YogaSix, is offering $600 off their instructor course so you can become a yoga teacher with the click of a mouse.  A local yoga instructor can talk about what steps are taken to become an instructor and how that has benefitted her income during this uncertain time.

The Y6 Teacher Training Program is designed for anyone who wants to deepen their personal yoga practice as well as for those who aspire to share their passion as an instructor. During the 200 hours of this Y6 instructor course, people have the opportunity to gain knowledge in body alignment, anatomy and Y6 philosophy, as well as learning how to teach a fun, safe and effective Y6 class. Additionally, the training will teach you skills in leadership, listening and facilitation that will serve people well in Y6, as well as other aspects of your life.
