People dine in private greenhouses at a restaurant in Amsterdam

In order for restaurants to open back up and to protect us from the coronavirus one restaurant in the Netherlands has installed private greenhouses for diners. Mediamatic Biotoop, has built five separate pods for customers to dine in.

One video shared on eatery’s Facebook shows dozens of diners sitting opposite from each other by a river as gloved waiters serve them wine. The idea is called Serres Separees, which means ‘separate rooms’ and will hopefully help with the pandemic.

The way the restaurant is set up also allows for its customers to be intimate.

"It suggests a sexy kind of intimacy. Here things can happen that should remain hidden from plain sight and not be heard by all,” said a spokesperson.
