Universal Orlando is reopening on Friday with new social distancing rules

Universal Orlando Resort will finally be opening all three of its parks on Friday after originally shutting down in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. Employees, resort hotel guests and annual passholders have already been welcomed back to the park over the past few days.

Seth Kubersky, a theme park expert, of TheUnofficialGuides.com paid the parks a visit on Wednesday and stated "It's good to be back among other human beings, to be out in public, to be walking around and seeing sites like the Hogwarts Castle The mood of the crowd today has been really patient, really friendly, really upbeat."

The park is implementing several new safety measures across all three parks such as mandatory face masks for all guests, temperature checks at the entrance of the park, increased cleaning of restrooms and other frequently touched locations and staggered parking.
