Amazon, Lowe's and other big companies are giving bonuses to those working on the front lines during the increase of the coronavirus pandemic numbers. Amazon announced it Monday, that they are giving a one time "thank-you" bonus to all employees of amazon and Whole Foods Market, which the company has owned since 2017.
These employees will receive a $500 bonus, while those in part time roles will receive $250. All Amazon and Whole Foods Market leaders will receive a $1,000 bonus, owners of delivery service partners will get $3,000 and each Amazon Flex driver with more than 10 hours in June will get $150.
Lowe's also stated that they full time employees will receive $500 while part time and seasonal associates will receive $150.
