Cox Customers Experiencing Internet Outages Across The Phoenix Area

Some Cox customers are experiencing outages across the valley, and unfortunately, Cox says there is no estimated time for repair.

The company says that they began receiving calls from customers overnight saying that the outage started on Wednesday night.

Cox responded on Twitter stating, "Some customers are experiencing a service interruption. Our engineers are working to restore services as quickly as possible. At this time, we do not have an estimated time for repair. We apologize for this impact."

The company says there is a way that their customers can check their account to see if they are impacted by the outage. To check your account, click here.

There is also a website called Down Detector that will track outages and issues with connectivity on different websites and services. According to Down Detector, there were over 100 reports of outages in the Phoenix area on Wednesday night around 9 p.m., and even more on Thursday morning.

The exact number of outages across the Valley is unknown at this time, but there have also been reports of several outages all across the southwest United States.
