Lenny Kravitz has revealed that he's been celibate for nine years.
According to The Guardian, Kravitz, 60, said he hasn't had any casual flings for nearly a decade and is waiting until he finds the right woman.
The iconic musician said his celibacy was inspired by his father, Sy, cheating on his mother, Roxie Roker. Kravitz recalled his father predicting that he would end up living a similar lifestyle. He acknowledged that he fell into the trap following the end of his marriage to Lisa Bonet in 1991. Kravitz went on to date Vanessa Paradis, Adriana Lima, Nicole Kidman, and other Hollywood stars during that time.
The artist said he eventually wanted to shed the label and end that lifestyle, prompting him to embark on a nine-year celibacy streak.
"It's a spiritual thing. I've become very set in my ways, in the way I live," Kravitz told The Guardian.
Kravitz reportedly hasn't been in a serious relationship for nearly a decade either and isn't looking to rush into a romance.
