Woman Won Child Support For Her 52-Year-Old Daughter

Well this is one odd story today. A woman out of San Diego won child support for her 52-year-old daughter according to ABC15. Wait what?!

According to the law, you become an adult at the age of 18 so when it comes to child support, that is usually the age that it is paid until. In this case, it's different.

Toni Anderson got a divorce about 50 years ago and had . a 3-year-old daughter. Her ex, never paid child support and she realized recently that there is "no statute of limitations on child support."

"He was only supposed to give me like a 160 dollars a month. Well, that was 50 years ago. That today is a lot more money." With accrued interest of 10 percent a year, what would have been a total payment of some $30,000 is now more than $170,000."

I don't know about you but even 50 years later, that is one heck of a ton of money to pass up the chance at.
