If you haven't heard, McDonald's is doing a HUGE promotion where they are giving away limited edition trading cards with every Happy Meal! If you are a fellow 90's baby like me, I'm sure your entire childhood revolved around Pokémon. I was OBSESSED and still am, I am even currently re-watching the OG TV series on Netflix right now! So, when I heard McDonald's was teaming up with Pokémon, I was so pumped.
I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to get my hands on it though, because of collectors and scalpers are snatching these Happy Meals up in bulk, some even buying entire boxes of just the Happy Meal toys.... (Nothing makes me more mad than scalpers!!!! They are ruining the magic!!!)
But, this past weekend I stopped by my local drive thru and THEY HAD THEM! (The line wrapped around the parking lot though!!!!) Here's my haul below, and the four cards I pulled!
Which four cards did I get? A Totodile, Sobble, Treecko and a holographic Tepig! Not gonna lie, I was a little bummed because I am mainly a fan of the 150 original legendary Pokémon, but was still super happy to be able to pick these up. Will you be stopping by a McDonald's to catch one of these Pokémon sets? Gotta Catch 'Em All!!
