Netflix is trying to push people to stop using others log-ins by making an account of their own and using the new profile transfer feature.
“People move. Families grow. Relationships end. But throughout these life changes, your Netflix experience should stay the same,” the streaming giant’s media release read about the new feature.
This new feature will let people keep their accounts that have their personalized recommendations, viewing history, My List, and other setting once they start a membership of their own. According to KTLA 5, users will be notified when Profile Transfer is available and can click on the Transfer Profile option by hovering over their profile icon in the dropdown menu at the homepage and can then follow the instructions from there.
