Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are keeping things friendly after their divorce.

A source recently explained to People where the "On the Floor" singer and the Good Will Hunting actor stand following their surprise reunion at the New York City premiere of the musical thriller Kiss of the Spider Woman last week, their first public appearance together since finalizing their divorce earlier this year.

They shut down speculation of a "romantic reunion" with her ex-husband, simply noting that Lopez has "always enjoyed working with Ben [and] this hasn't changed."

"They're in a really good place. They continue to support each other. They're both proud of what they accomplished together," the insider said, adding that Lopez is "doing well" and is "focused on things that make her happy — family and work."

Both Lopez and Affleck recently praised the other while at the premiere of Kiss of the Spider Woman, where they also had a surprise run-in on the red carpet. Lopez stars in the film while Artists Equity, Affleck's production company with Matt Damon, co-produced the project.

Lopez and Affleck settled their divorce in January, months after she filed to end their marriage after two years; however, they are reported to be remaining on "friendly terms," especially for the sake of their respective children who are "still really close." Lopez shares 17-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony while Affleck shares three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13.
