Steve Martin couldn't be happier for Selena Gomez as she embarks on married life with husband Benny Blanco.

Martin spoke with Entertainment Tonight at the 59th CMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday (November 19) where he gushed over his Only Murders in the Building costar's "beautiful" wedding to Blanco after the couple tied the knot on September 27. The Father of the Bride actor was photographed alongside fellow Only Murders costars Martin Short and Paul Rudd before the ceremony in Santa Barbara, California, but has kept quiet about the nuptials over the past two months.

"It was a beautiful, beautiful wedding," he said, going on to praise the record producer as "lucky" to have found love with Gomez. "She married a very lucky guy, but also a very talented and funny guy."

He added that his "highlight" of the star-studded wedding, which included other famous guests like Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, was simply "just being there" to support his costar.

Martin and Gomez have developed a close bond since their hit Hulu show debuted in 2021. Prior to marriage to Blanco, both Martin and Short showed their support for the nuptials in the best way, with Short later adding that he was "thrilled for her happiness."

The "In The Dark" singer announced on September 27 that she and Blanco were officially married, giving fans the first look at their stunning wedding attire. She has gone on to share even more sweet personal memories from the big day, from a special moment with her bestie Taylor Swift to behind-the-scenes photos from the magical weekend.
