She’s just doing it with love. Hilary Duff finally hopped on the TikTok trend of people imitating her notorious “With Love” choreography from her performance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” in 2007.
The “Younger” actress, 34, posted a video to her own TikTok on Monday, in which she danced along to her awkward performance in a duet with @YungDaddyCack. “So I can stop receiving text about this….also….. I tik toked….and it was a 12% kinda day,” she captioned the video on Instagram. Duff wore a white crop top and distressed jeans as she moved along to her younger self with an improved sense of confidence and rhythm.
The “With Love” throwback performance has been making the rounds on TikTok for months, with many poking fun at the minimal energy Duff seemingly put into her dance moves at the time. Several of Duff’s friends and fans flooded the comments sections of her Instagram and TikTok posts to cheer on the “Lizzie McGuire” alum, who was 20 years old at the time of the performance.
“YESSSSSSS,” Ashley Tisdale gushed, with Jenna Dewan adding, “Amazing.”
“I WAS WAITING FOR THIS ONE,” a fan wrote, with a second calling her post “iconic.”
“I’m so happy you’ve acknowledged this. I knew you would find the humor in it as well! I swear we love you,” a third fan wrote. Even TikTok commented, writing, “She came to show us how it’s done.”
Duff’s video has already garnered more than 145,000 views after just an hour from when she posted the clip.
