New paid time off rules effective this summer in Arizona

Starting July 1st, all companies with more than one employee in Arizona must give employees paid time off including full-time, part-time, temporary and seasonal.

Plus, employees start accruing PTO immediately. However, businesses can have a 90-day probationary period for new employees. 

According to ABC 15's post... if an employee has unused PTO, businesses have two options:

1. Cash out (the employee gets a check for unused PTO)

2. Employees can roll the time to the next year
