Arizona Native Emma Stone Wins Oscar For Best Actress For Her Role In 'La La Land'

It's official! 

Arizona native Emma Stone has won her FIRST Oscar for her role in La La Land! She went against some power house performances such as Meryl Streep & Natalie Portman to name a few. 

In a hilarious turn, she thanked her friends, promising, “I’m going to hug the hell out of you when the feeling re-enters my body.”

In case you didn't know... Emma Stone was born & raised in Scottsdale. She also attended Xavier College Preparatory before moving to Los Angeles at 15 to pursue a career in acting.
