Parking Reaches Over $70 At Phoenix Comicon Due To Major Security Changes

The recent arrest of an armed man at Comic Con has unfortunately brought changes to security fir this weekends festivities.

According to a recent press release, there will be MORE screenings which will slow down entry into the event.

Props will no longer be allowed inside, but vendors will be able to sell toy weapons if they are sealed. If you buy a prop at the convention, police will require you keep it sealed while you're inside the venue.

There will only be three entrance points for the remainder of the convention:

  1. West building entrance at Second Street between Washington and Monroe streets
  2. Third Street at Washington Street
  3. Third Street at Monroe Street

Here's the worst part... with the changes in where entries are located parking has become a NIGHTMARE in Downtown Phoenix! Some places reaching over $70!?!
