In today's world, it seems like there is a Starbucks on every corner right? Well, that could be changing because the franchise is closing 150 underperforming stores as well as ones that too close in radius to other stores nationwide. Earlier this year they also raised prices from 10 to 20 cents on brewed coffee
Most of the reason that they are closing stories is to give those resources to other branches to make those ones even better! Usually they close about 50 per year but this year jumped to 150! However, they will still open some stores in areas/stores that need it.
