Trader Joes, Walmart, & Whole Foods Are Recalling Thousands Of Salads

Stores like Trader Joe's, Walmart and Whole Foods are again recalling thousands of their salads over concerns that they have been linked to listeria and salmonella outbreaks. Safer than sorry right? This is starting to feel like a trend that will keep rolling around.

According to Business Insider, it is a preventative that is needed.

Earlier in 2018, at least five people died in an E. coli outbreak linked to romaine lettuce. The CDC documented at least 197 cases of E. coli in 35 states, with 89 people hospitalized.

So for the time being it might be wise to stay away from any precut fruit and vegetables like salad and make your own or cut up your own fruit. Again, safer than sorry!
