With most restaurants and bars closed, bartenders are no longer able to keep us at ease by crafting our favorite cocktails and hearing our woes. They’re also not getting paid. Because of this, Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds is donating 30% of all proceeds from bottle sales of his gin, Aviation Gin, to bartenders.
Reynolds made the announcement in an Instagram post stating, “Until May 1st, for every bottle of Aviation ordered online, we’ll donate 30% of proceeds as a tip to your bartenders - who REALLY miss you btw.” Reynolds and wife Blake Lively also recently donated $1 million to food banks to help those affected by the Coronavirus.
