It has been reported that Tyler Perry's nephew, Gavin Porter, has committed suicide. Gavin was serving a 20 year sentence for shooting and killing his father. Tyler Perry stated, "Call me naive, but it was my hope that after serving his time, and really reflecting and showing much remorse and asking God for forgiveness, that he would have been able to come to work for me, joining all the other former inmates who work for me and turn his life around just as they have. But that day will never come."
Gavin Porter was found hung in his cell, he had used his bed sheets to take his own life. Tyler Perry wants to be extra sure there was no foul play involved. To confirm this was ruled a suicide correctly, Tyler Perry has hired am extremely famous pathologist to perform a second autopsy on Gavin. Dr. Michael Baden has worked on huge cases such as JFK, O.J. and Jeffrey Epstein. Tyler Perry hopes to get some clear answer from this second autopsy.
