Tekashi 6ix9ine attempted to donate $200,000 to non-profit, "No Kid Hungry" after his release from prison. Unfortunately, "No Kid Hungry" actually rejected 6ix9ine's donation. The non-profit released this statement, "We are grateful for Mr. Hernandez’s generous offer to donate to No Kid Hungry but we have informed his representatives that we have declined this donation. As a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values."
Of course, this has led to some controversy and even 6ix9ine was furious that his donation was rejected, claiming the organization was "taking food out of kids mouths".
Of course $200,000 is a generous donation, but it's is hard not to wonder if 6ix9ine was just making that donation as a publicity stunt? What do you think?
