Underwater Roundabout Set to Open Beneath Atlantic Ocean

For the first time EVER, you'll be able to drive around an underwater roundabout in the Atlantic Ocean.

This 7-mile long tunnel is getting a lot of attraction on social media and will connect the islands of Streymoy and Eysturoy, significantly cutting travel times to the Faroe Islands.

The lowest point of the tunnel is 613.5 ft below sea level.

The tunnel began getting worked on in 2016 and is set to open December 19, 2020.
