Bruno Mars Imposter Scams Woman Out of $100k


A Texas woman in her 60s is the latest to fall victim of being scammed out of thousands of dollars.

She believed she was in a romantic relationship with Bruno Mars, but in reality she was being scammed by a man named Chinwendu Azuonwu.

The woman created an Instagram account in hopes to find some romance, which is where she began receiving direct messages from a fake Bruno account. She also began texting with this imposter.

She eventually would send a $10,000 check and another $90,000 to Azuonwu.

If you don't already know, NEVER send money to someone you never met personally, especially if they are claiming to be a celebrity.
