After 25 years of with Nike, VP Ann Herbert resigned after a Bloomberg Business week report showed her son's sneaker resale business.
Her son Joe Herbert was making hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of shoes every month and used her credit card at least once to buy the shoes in bulk.
Bloomberg described one occasion of Herbert and his team using bots to score $132,000 worth of shoes from a Yeezy Supply website and flipped them for a $20,000 profit.
A Nike spokesperson did tell Bloomberg Ann had disclosed information about the business to her employer in 2018 and there was "no violation of the company policy."
There's no word on why she resigned but Nike said "Ann Hebert, VP/GM, North America geography has decided to step down from Nike, effectively immediately,” a company statement reads. “We thank Ann for her more than 25 years with Nike and wish her well.”
